About Us

Berman Bavero Frucco & Gouz p.c. opened its doors on Main Street in White Plains, New York in 1996.  The founding and named partners came together to form a full-service divorce and family law firm.  Three of the founders had many years of experience in the courts as principal law clerks to Supreme Court and Family Court judges.  Two founders had been local court judges.  All of the founders had extensive experience as partners in prominent family/matrimonial law practices. Over the years, BBFG expanded, taking on new partners who added to the firm’s depth.

BBFG's attorneys are widely respected for their legal expertise.  We frequently lecture to attorneys and judges on continuing legal education and write curricula for such courses.  One of our attorneys is a highly-regarded law school adjunct professor in matrimonial law.  We are active bar association leaders, who work to improve the practice of matrimonial and family law in Westchester County and New York State.  Five of our partners are fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Law.  Our team also includes experienced legal assistants, one of whom has given accredited continuing legal education lectures on uncontested divorces.

We are committed to resolving cases amicably and expeditiously to minimize the economic and emotional costs to our clients.  We are experienced practitioners of collaborative law and mediation.  However, when necessary, our accomplished trial lawyers skillfully protect our client’s rights in the courtroom.
